A shelter-in-place order has been issued on the Windham-Raymond town line as police search for a gunman in a reported shooting.

Police responded to the call for a shooting just before 2 p.m. on Route 302 in North Windham, Maine State Police spokesperson Lt. Aaron Turcotte said in a news release.

The shelter-in-place order was issued just after 4 p.m. for Route 302 from Route 85 in Raymond to Whites Bridge Road in Windham, as well as the surrounding side streets.
