Maine authorities have lifted a shelter in place order that was issued for parts of Windham and Raymond after a shooting happened Friday afternoon on Route 302 in North Windham.

State police said the shooting happened at about 1:55 p.m. and members of their Evidence Response Team have been investigating the roadway near the intersection of Landing Road.

A joint press conference held by the Maine State Police and Windham Police Department is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. at the Windham Central Fire Station. You can watch that press conference live in the video player above when it does start.
