TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Just days after Jeremy Matlow officially announced he was running for mayor , three candidates have filed for his non-partisan commission seat.
Talethia Edwards and PJ Andres Perez both filed on Aug. 12, only a day after Matlow announced he was running for mayor, according to the Leon County Supervisor of Elections website . Norm Roche announced his candidacy on July 7, per the website.
Roche is a former city employee who also previously served as Pinellas County Commissioner. Roche said on his election website that he is a “non-partisan voice” for Tallahassee and “seeks to represent our citizens’ agenda, not a political one.”
Edwards is a longtime community activist and is currently the executive director of Good News Outreach, a nonprofit organization
