MILFORD, Iowa (KTIV) - A landmark property in the Iowa Great Lakes is up for sale.

The old Milford City Hall, located in the downtown business district, is officially on the market. Originally built in 1950, the facility was once home to Milford’s city offices, fire, and police departments.

The building features four large garage bays, office spaces, and a small kitchen. While the old city hall has seen some wear and tear through the years, it has been updated in recent years.

“It sits downtown. The building is a brick building; it was tuck pointed in 2016 and got new windows in 2016,’ said Milford Mayor Steve Anderson. ”It’s got some good features to it. The building is pretty solid."

The Milford City Council hopes to determine how the sale will work by the end of the month.
