A portion of Hollow Road near Middletown will be closed for about a week while the Frederick County Department of Highway Operations replaces a failing culvert pipe.

Starting on or about Aug. 25, Hollow Road will be closed daily from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. between U.S. 40 Alternate and Layla Drive. A signed detour will be in place.
