A home in Cheshire said to have been a magnet for drug problems and antisocial behaviour has been slapped with banning order. It means only the householder is allowed into the house on Bond Street, Macclesfield , and anyone else who enters risks arrest.
The property was served with the order after officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team in Macclesfield went to court and obtained a 'partial closure order' after cops had gathered evidence of anti-social behaviour and drug dealing from neighbours, according to a statement from Cheshire Police.
The order, which came into effect from on Thursday 14 August, will run for three months and is a 'direct result of great communication between officers and the local community of neighbours', says the force.
