COLUMBUS, Ohio — A new kind of landscaping crew has taken over part of Antrim Park, and they’re tackling the job one bite at a time.

Alongside the lake at Antrim Park, a herd of goats is busy chewing down overgrown, invasive plants. While it may not look like they’re doing much, their work is part of Columbus Recreation and Parks ’ first-ever goat landscaping project.

“The goats actually prefer sweet things like poison ivy, honeysuckle,” Tina Mohn, conservation administrator with Columbus Recreation and Parks, explained to 10TV.

The goal is to open up lake views and make trails safer in a sustainable way.

The herd of 20 goats is tasked with cleaning up two acres of land and won’t leave until the job is done, which Mohn estimates will take around two to three weeks, "depending on how
