COLUMBUS, Ohio — A man charged with murder in a shooting in the Old North Columbus area last week was arrested in Clark County, according to jail records.

Andre Jordan, 34, was booked in the Clark County jail at 1:34 a.m. Friday. He is charged in the shooting death of 40-year-old Bryan Morris Jr..

On Aug. 8, the Columbus Division of Police was called to the intersection of North High and Duncan streets where officers found Morris shot.

Morris was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital and later died.

Information about what led to the shooting was not available.

According to the U.S. Marshals Service, the FBI assisted in finding Jordan at the Quality Inn hotel on East Leffel Lane in Springfield late Thursday.
