(NEWS10) -- Kids spend summer break riding bikes, launching cannonballs, and running through sprinklers. But 16-year-old Ryan Autrey spent his soaked in sweat.
"This summer, I think I've cut around 60 [lawns]," he said.
As the temperatures went up, Ryan made the grass go down across three counties. No doubt "bagging" lots of green, right?
"How much money have you made cutting all these lawns?" NEWS10's John Gray asked. "Absolutely nothing, really," Ryan replied.
Nothing? You can thank his mom for that. The day she told him about the non-profit Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service that was looking for kids to cut lawns for the needy. The catch? You can't charge a dime, and you have to do 50.
