ONSLOW COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - After releasing an updated facial reconstruction image of a woman found in Bear Creek in 1991 earlier this week, the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office has ruled out one missing person as the unidentified individual.

The sheriff’s office states that it received numerous tips from the community in attempts to identify the woman.

Most of those tips involved the possibility of the woman being a missing woman from James City County, Virginia named Jennifer Pandos.

Through DNA and other identifying factors, the sheriff’s office has ruled out that the missing woman from Bear Creek is Jennifer Pandos.
