SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Coinciding with its 125th anniversary, the iconic Floyd Monument will be undergoing its biggest restoration project in more than 25 years.

"It's time," said Kelly Bach with Sioux City Parks and Recreation. "The last restoration work that was really done ended in about 1998."

Contractor bids for the project were due this week and are now under review.
