An increased police presence in downtown Harrisburg will be cracking down on unruly juveniles roaming the streets after 11 p.m., including issuing citations to parents, Mayor Wanda Williams and Police Commissioner Thomas Carter said in a Friday press conference.
“In recent weeks, a number of unsupervised teenagers, underage individuals, have threatened the safety of the downtown environment. They have been heckling patrons, unlawfully drinking alcohol, getting into fights, shouting foul and belligerent language, and have fallen over and passed out under the influence of substances in front of residents and establishments,” Williams said.
