MINOT, ND (KXNET) — We've all heard those six tell-tale words: Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over. But this is more than just a slogan you'll see on billboards and in commercials. It's a promise from law enforcement across the country, including North Dakota, that local highway patrol officers will crack down on drunk driving through the rest of the month.
North Dakota law enforcement will have more patrols out on the roads and highways for the next two-and-a-half weeks as part of their latest campaign against driving under the influence. Initiatives like these are meant to discourage risky driving behaviors and help drivers make good decisions, both behind and away from the wheel.
