Mahoning County Public Health (MCPH) is once again offering their "Health Coaches for Hypertension Control" program.
The program will focus on improving hypertension self-management through educational small groups for adults aged 55 and older.
Topics that will be covered include the basics of hypertension control, nutrition, physical activity, tobacco cessation, and stress and medication management.
Classes will meet once per week for eight weeks from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. starting Tuesday, September 2, at the Sebring Library and Thursday, September 4, at Mauthe Park in Struthers.
