Mercer County, Pa. - After a successful fundraising event, the Dead Possums Riding Club of Mercer County is donating the hefty proceeds to a VFW program to help support veterans, active duty military and their families.

According to the club secretary, with almost 200 motorcycles, the Dead Possums' 2025 Mercer County Patriots' Ride was the club's best turnout yet.

On Friday, the club rode to the Reynolds VFW Post 7599 to present their Veterans' Outreach Program with the check, coming to a grand total of $55,000.

"What they've done and what the funds can do - it's endless. We encourage those veterans that need help to seek us out," says Michael Mason, Dead Possums Secretary.
