AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Thurmond and Silverbluff high schools both hosted jamborees as the South Carolina High School League is preparing for the start of football season.
While Georgia high school began this week, South Carolina’s does not start until next.
The jamboree played host to five mini games, with seven teams from around the area attending, except Swansea.
After an hour delay, games finally kicked off at 7 p.m.
