NAVASOTA, Texas (KBTX) - “Large quantities” of narcotics, firearms, “bomb-making materials,” and more were seized in a joint operation, the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) announced on Friday, along with the arrest of one Navasota man.

Investigators used a warrant to search a location along County Road 319 in Navasota on Friday. There, GCSO said “large quantities of fentanyl, methamphetamine, stolen vehicles, firearms, and bomb-making materials” were seized.

Navasota man Rodney Jackson was arrested and charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, possession of stolen property, and tampering with a vehicle identification numbers. GCSO said more charges are pending as the investigation continues.
