WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Another deadly crash at a Sedgwick County intersection is raising new safety concerns.
Police say Tiffany Jones was killed this week after running a stop sign at West 29th Street and North 135th Street. Her car hit an SUV, seriously injuring the driver and three children.
It is the same intersection where Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Deputy Sidnee Carter was killed in a crash in 2022.
“I just know that Detective Sidnee Carter, who tragically lost her life there, brought my attention to that intersection when that happened. She was on her way to a call — it was a tragic accident,” said Sedgwick County Commissioner Jim Howell.
