The family of a 3-year-old girl who was shot and killed in Southeast D.C. last month is now grieving the loss of a relative who died in a hit-and-run.
Lee Clark died after someone speeding on an I-695 ramp hit him near northbound 295, investigators say. The people in the car got out and ran. Clark, a longtime D.C. resident, was 58.

Clark’s uncle Raymond Cheadle Jr. told News4 he spoke with Clark just minutes before he was killed.
“I didn’t know that was gonna be the last time I talked to him, so I said, ‘OK, I’ll catch up with you later on,’” he said.
Cheadle called Clark a few days later and he didn’t pick up.
“I didn’t even know he was dead,” he said.
