CHARLOTTE, N.C. – “Burn out and find out” is the message from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police to illegal street racers.

Officers say they’ve seized more cars connected to illegal street takeovers.

This week alone, the department has filed criminal charges against 98 people they claim have been involved in those takeovers.
