CLEVELAND — The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the driver of a dump truck was killed after being ejected from their truck after a crash involving two other vehicles in Richland County Friday.

The crash happened just before 2 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 13 and State Route 96 West in Franklin Township.

The dump truck driver, whose identity was still being investigated by the Richland County coroner's office late Friday night, was driving north on State Route 13 when an 81-year-old man was driving a Chrysler minivan east on State Route 96. Troopers say evidence found in the roadway shows that the minivan attempted to make a left turn onto State Route 13 as the dump truck was approaching the intersection.
