EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Switching gears to the diamond, it’s a day to check in on our Tri-State stars, I suppose, and this guy, Colson Montgomery, he’s shouting out his roots.

Check out this custom bat he’s rocking for players weekend, giving love to Southridge, his alma mater. This bat... it’s been on fire folks, since July 4th when he was called up, Montgomery is 2nd among rookies with 10 home runs. Certainly shining in the spotlight with the long ball, but he’s not done, he’s been driving in the runs too. Again, second among rookies in RBI since his call up with 28.... in true Colson fashion, he kept it going with a hit in tonight’s game.
