SALT LAKE CITY – A Utah gymnastics coach was sentenced after investigators said he used hidden cameras to produce child sexual abuse material.

Adam Richard Jacobs, 35, of Woods Cross, Utah, was sentenced to 120 months in prison and a lifetime term of supervised release for child exploitation crimes, according to a release from the United States Attorney’s Office District of Utah.

According to the release, Jacobs admitted to using a hidden camera to record minors in hotel rooms and bathrooms while working as a gymnastics coach. The Attorney’s Office said Jacobs also pleaded guilty to transportation of a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity.
