Tigers' 25-year-old eyes rehab assignment after sustaining injury

Detroit Tigers outfielder Parker Meadows found himself back on the team's injured list in late July after missing the first 60 games of the season. Meadows suffered a groin strain on July 27.

He managed to play in just 38 games before finding himself back on the injured list. Although it isn't quite as serious as the musculocutaneous nerve injury he suffered in his right arm during Spring Training, the 25-year-old hasn't managed to stay on the field in 2025.

"I want to get out there just to compete... Just to be able to get out there and save guys’ legs, that would better our team for sure. Watching these games is tough. I still have an opportunity to help the team."
