ALTAMONT, NY (NEWS10) -- One of the most electric events in sports across the Capital Region returned last night to the Altamont Fair: the second annual Altamont Fair Corgi Races. Over 30 competitors entered, but only one Corgi could be crowned the champion. Who would get their little legs across the finish line first?

NEWS10 ABC Sports Director Griffin Haas caught up with on of the participants, Potato Chip, about his gameplan before the races. "Run real fast," said Potato Chip. "Don't trip on my face and get lots of cheese."

There were four heats. The winner and second-place finisher from each heat advanced to the finals.
