LAHAINA (HawaiiNewsNow) - A popular Lahaina business that burned down in the wildfire is bouncing back.
Pakaloha Bikinis looks a little different these days.
“The idea is to bring Pakaloha to the people,” Danyelle Cedar said.
Cedar shares her vision with customers at the Napili Farmers Market: a bikini boutique on wheels.
“Days after the fire, we were like, how do we get our store back on Maui? And we came up with the idea, let’s get a truck like a food truck, but a bikini truck,” Cedar said.
The beloved bikini shop on Front Street and their Lahaina Warehouse along with all their inventory were destroyed in the Lahaina fire.
Cedar also lost her home and her roommate in the inferno.
“I left my house in shark pit around 6 p.m. and I had my nine-month-old godson with me,” she said fig
