Bodybuilder Hayley McNeff has died at 37.
McNeff passed away in her home on August 8. Her passing was "unexpected but peaceful," according to her obituary shared on Boston.com . No official cause of death has been shared with the public.
"Hayley was known for her quick wit and constant sense of humor, she had a gift for making those around her laugh and feel welcomed," her obituary reads. "Her energy and determination was a constant in her life and she always accomplished what she set out to achieve.
An athlete from an early age, McNeff excelled in a variety of sports, including equestrian riding, board diving, and skiing. As an adult, she found her passion in bodybuilding, earning state titles in Maryland and Delaware.
She was also featured in the 2005 documentary Raising the Bar
