A new Pew Research Poll has Donald Trump's job approval rating at 38%, with 60% disapproval, the highest disapproval numbers in recent weeks, with the Pew poll conducted in early June having Trump at 41% approval and 58% disapproval.
The poll also finds a majority of Americans, 53%, believe that Trump's presidency has made the work of the federal government worse, up from 42% in February at the beginning of Trump's second term.
Respondents also held a net disapproval of 46% of Trump's "One Big Beautiful" budget bill, compared to a net approval of 32%, and 47% said they think the effect of the bill on themselves and their families will be mostly negative in the coming years.
