NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A woman was seriously injured Saturday morning after a shooting in the Priest Lake area, according to officials.

Investigators said just before 1 a.m. Saturday, the victim was taken to a Metro Nashville Police Department precinct on Harding Place after a shooting occurred at the Smith Springs Community Center.

She was taken by ambulance to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with critical injuries, but is expected to survive.

No additional information was released as the investigation continues.
