Firefighters were called to a fire at a popular Cambridgeshire burger hut on Saturday morning (August 16). They arrived to find a small fire to the rear of Higgsy's , a burger business based in a layby on the A15 between Yaxley and Norman Cross.
Crews said the fire was 'deliberate'. A police car was pictured at the scene, where the hut had been cordoned off.
A Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "At 5.53am this morning (August 16), a crew from Stanground responded to a report of a fire on the A15 London Road at Norman Cross. On arrival they discovered a small fire at the rear of a snack hut.
"Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire. Damage was caused to cladding on the rear of the container.
"The cause is believed to have been deliberate."
They
