BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) - Many enjoy everything Mill Creek Park has to offer. The Mahoning Soil & Water Conservation District is looking to make sure it stays protected for years to come.
The district is looking for volunteers this weekend as it hosts the Mill Creek Watershed Clean-up on Sunday. Currently, it has a couple dozen volunteers and expects there to be more by the day of the event.
The Mill Creek Watershed is one of the most well-known watersheds in Mahoning County. It is a valuable asset to the community, helping to provide clean drinking water and used for recreational purposes.
