The traveling comedy show Grapes & Giggles started with a funny story, believe it or not.

It was mix-up about a misidentified, disgruntled customer at Domenico Winery during a Valentine’s Day dinner in 2021, one of the earliest public outings post-COVID. Chris Beasley was enjoying his date night when the restaurant’s owner came to apologize and handle what he thought was a customer dissatisfaction scenario. Upon hearing everything was great, he quickly realized he was at the wrong table.

Later in the night, the manager circled back to chat and give Beasley and his wife a tour of the place. This led to a friendly conversation that turned into a business opportunity that has become a continued relationship between Grapes & Giggles and Domenico Winery for the past three years.
