FITCHBURG, Wis. (WMTV) - This Sunday, you can walk to raise money for Huntington’s Disease, a fatal genetic disorder that causes the progressive breakdown of nerve cells in the brain.

The Wisconsin Chapter of the Huntington’s Disease Society of America will be hosting the 2025 HDSA Madison Team Hope Walk on Sunday at McKee Farms Park in Fitchburg.

All proceeds from the Team Hope Walk will support HDSA’s mission to improve the lives of people affected by Huntington’s disease and their families.

Team Hope is HDSA’s largest national grassroots fundraising event, which takes place in over 100 cities across the U.S. and has raised more than $28 million for HD since its inception in 2007.
