PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Phoenix police are investigating after a man was wounded in a shooting early Saturday morning.
Around 5 a.m., officers responded to a shots fired call at a home in the area of 38th Avenue and Fillmore Street , south of Interstate 10. Police located a man with at least one gunshot wound when they arrived, and he was taken to a hospital with what investigators describe as non-life-threatening injuries.
While few details have been released about what led to the shooting, police later detained two other men in the area. Detectives have responded to the scene.
Phoenix police say the area will be closed for the next several hours while the investigation is underway.
