HOUSTON (KIAH) — It should be another hot and humid weekend in southeast Texas with some scattered storms around the area, but not as much as last weekend.
A high-pressure system will try to limit the activity of thunderstorms in the area on Saturday, but there is enough moisture in the area to create a small storm or two.
Temperatures are expected to remain high throughout the weekend as highs will be in the mid-to-upper 90s and the heat index will range between 105 to 110 degrees. So don’t be surprised if a heat advisory will be called on Saturday. And be safe in the hot weather!
The rest of the weekend – as well as the rest of the week -- will be hot at humid with an occasional shower or thunderstorm. Showers and isolated storms will be moving over the coastal waters and areas south
