HOUSTON (KIAH) — A teenager was taken to the hospital after being stabbed at a house party in Crosby, Harris County authorities said.

The house party happened overnight into early Saturday morning at the 500 block of Sundown Meadow Street, the Harris County Sheriff's Office said.

Preliminary reports said that a group of teenagers were drinking alcohol and a fight broke out. A 17-year-old was severely stabbed. He was taken to a local hospital via Life Flight in critical condition. But his condition has been upgraded to stable condition.

Francisco Flores, 19, has been arrested and charged with the attack. He is currently booked in the Harris County Jail.
