A woman's unborn baby was killed after a driver mowed her down at speeds of up to 71mph on a 30mph road.
The driver who hit the five-m onths-pregnant care home worker and killed her baby boy has now been locked up for 13 years.
Renju Joseph, 31, was struck by a car driven at high speed by Ashir Shahid, 20.
Mrs Joseph, also a student, was walking on a zebra crossing at the time in the village of Bamber Bridge, near Preston.
The Toyota Prius was estimated to be travelling at between 58mph and 71mph at the time, in dark, wet conditions, in a 30mph zone, Preston Crown Court heard.
