PONCHATOULA, La. (WVUE) - A 73-year-old Ponchatoula man was arrested on dozens of child pornography allegations, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office said Saturday (Aug. 16)

Arthur Palmisano was booked last Monday with 60 counts of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13, the agency said.

The TPSO said detectives were alerted last week to “child sexual assault material” being “uploaded into a popular search engine in an effort to find similar images.” Investigators tracked the online activity to Palmisano’s address in Ponchatoula, the agency said.

“After serving a search warrant on the home, Palmisano was confirmed to have been the source of the upload and was found to have dozens of CSAM files on his devices,” the TPSO said. “He was then placed under arrest.”
