Phoenix is landing another big sporting event, this time gymnastics.

The city and USA Gymnastics announced last week the Phoenix Convention Center will play host to the 2026 U.S. Gymnastics Championship as well as the USA Gymnastics National Congress and Trade Show. The event will be Aug. 6-9, 2026.

“Phoenix continues the trend of ‘Championship Valley’ with the announcement that we’ll be home to the 2026 U.S. Gymnastics Championships and the USA Gymnastics National Congress and Trade Show,” Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego said. “We are thrilled to add these events to our continually growing roster of flawlessly executed major events.
