Over a dozen Toledo Zoo members and yoga enthusiasts had a relaxing morning Saturday.

Guests like Kim McNutt of Swanton stood and lay on yoga mats, practicing different yoga poses during the Toledo Zoo’s Elephant Flow yoga class, part of its Zen at the Zoo series, which allows participants to do yoga in the presence different animals and learn about those animals after class.

“It’s all good because you not only get to interact with other people, you get to interact with the animals,” Ms. McNutt said. “They had it at the aquarium with the zebras, the bears, and now with elephants.”

Drew Kadel, development event experience manager at the Toledo Zoo said the zoo has “some animal training going on and there will be people keepers there.”
