OBETZ, Ohio — The Perrysburg boys and girls each finished third in Division I races at Saturday’s OHSAA Pre-Season Cross Country Invitational.
Division I and II races took place, before the remaining races were canceled due to heat.
The Perrysburg boys finished with 99 points, trailing Springboro (49) and Little Miami (77).
Brody Bauman led the way for the Yellow Jackets, finishing fifth with a time of 16 minutes, 19.99 seconds. Teammates Kenneth Morgan, Jr., (10th, 16:34.14) and Noah Madden (24th, 17:03.65) also finished in the top 25. Little Miami’s Ryne Reynolds (15:50.21) was the race winner.
The Perrysburg girls had 140 points. Gahanna Lincoln (54) claimed the team title followed by Lancaster (123).
