CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - One person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a shooting Friday night in uptown Charlotte.

According to MEDIC, it happened around 11 p.m. on East Trade Street near South Brevard Street.

No further information about the shooting has been released.
