CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - One person is seriously hurt after a crash Sunday afternoon on Interstate 85 in north Charlotte.

According to MEDIC, the crash happened around noon in the southbound lanes near the Statesville Road exit.

MEDIC took the person to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.

The North Carolina Department of Transportation said all lanes have been reopened.
