HOUSTON, TX. (CAROLINA SPORTS LIVE) -- The Carolina Panthers are at The Bank taking on the Houston Texans Saturday afternoon.

It didn't take long for coach Dave Canales to go back on his word on Bryce Young and the starters playing more than the drives they played in Week 1 against the Browns.

Once again, they played only two drives against the Texans. The offense did not look good as they failed to get a first down and combined for three yards on both drives. Young was 0/2, and Hubbard had only four yards on two carries.

Some of the receivers stayed in the game with Andy Dalton on the next drive, but that was his only time on the field. Dalton left the game with a right elbow injury with about 10 minutes left in the first half. He was replaced by Jack Plummer, who finished the half 7/8
