Some Abbotsford drivers may be seeing red Saturday afternoon after police were forced to close Highway 11 in both directions due to an uninvited visitor on the roadway.

Emergency crews have blocked off a kilometre-long stretch between McCallum and Bateman Roads as they work to move a bull out of the way of traffic, the Abbotsford Police Department said on social media.

Police ask drivers to avoid the area to allow emergency vehicle access.

“We’re currently working with the farmer to resolve the situation,” AbbyPD said.
