HARRISBURG — Real football doesn’t begin until Week 1 games kick off on Aug. 22, but schools all over Pennsylvania took to scrimmages on Saturday to get some head-to-head reps in live clock drives.

Landis Field played host to CD East and Central York, the two going through four 12-minute quarters after some non-chain-measured drills. Here are five takeaways from Saturday’s action.
