LARKSPUR, Colo. (KKTV) - One person is dead after a crash that prompted a closure of I-25 north of Colorado Springs on Saturday.
Colorado State Patrol said officials responded to the crash a little after noon. The Colorado Department of Transportation said it was between the County Line Road and Greenland exits, north of the Springs and south of Larkspur.
Troopers said the crash involved two vehicles, with one rolling over multiple times.
According to CSP, the driver of a vehicle died on scene and a passenger was airlifted to the hospital.
It left northbound lanes of I-25 shut down for a while, but they reopened around 3 p.m. So far, troopers have not said what caused the crash.
