Crews battling fire at Lexington landfill

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Fire crews spent hours battling a garbage fire at a Lexington landfill.

The Lexington Fire Department tells WKYT crews were called to a landfill near the Haley Pike Landfill after a column of black smoke was spotted.

The Fire Department has not said whether the fire has been put out yet.
