HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Well it was another hot and humid day today, with temperatures in the mid to upper 90’s and heat indices from 100 to 107 across the area. A Heat Advisory remains in effect for the eastern half of Nebraska and northern Kansas, which includes Hastings, Grand Island, and Lincoln until 8:00 PM CDT. Some cloud cover will move in tonight from the west, some of this can already be seen across western Nebraska. Isolated showers and maybe a few rumbles of thunder will be possible later tonight through early tomorrow morning. The best chances remain across northern Nebraska, but a few pop up showers across the rest of Nebraska cannot be ruled out.
