Edmonton police have issued a provincewide Amber Alert for the alleged abduction of a two-year-old.
The alert which was issued just before 5 p.m. for all of Alberta, says that at around 4 p.m. on Saturday, a person named Leonard Willier took two-year-old Aurora Alexis from Edmonton.
It is believed that the child was taken around 106 Street and 31 Avenue in Edmonton.
Willier is believed to be driving a 2018 Toyota Tundra with Saskatchewan license plate 786 JBH. Police also believe that there were others in the vehicle at the time of the abduction.
Police have described Willier as 6 foot tall with a stalky build. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone who sees Willier, Alexis or the Toyota Tundra in question is asked to call 9-1-1 or their local law enforcement immediately.
